"This is an important lesson to remember when you're having a bad day, a bad month, or a shitty year. Things will change: you won't feel this way forever. And anyway, sometimes the hardest lessons to learn are the ones your soul needs most. I believe you can't feel real joy unless you know what it means to fail. You can't know what it's like to feel holy until you know what it's like to feel really fucking evil. And you can't be birthed again until you've died." yay for primary colors and awesome weather!

recap: february has been one of the busiest months of my life. out of the 29 days (yay leap year!), i was working for 25 of them. i also decided to give up shopping for awhile. i usually do this once every year or so for a period of time, and its always hard to do. #shoppingaddict
but it wasn't a bad month. even though it was busy and sleep was on the bottom of the totem pole, i learned a lot about myself and people and im excited for what's to come.
1. new developments at work. first of all, i love my boss. i really respect her and hope my work ethic will one day be as strong as hers. she's given me a lot of trust and room to grow, which i really appreciate. so march will be a test run of new "positions" for me and trying to help her company grow. very exciting!!!
2. #nyfw is cray cray. that pretty much sums up a chunk of february. i've never seen so many well dressed people, crazy photographers, and goodie bags. but it was fun to be part of the buzz and the hype.
3. don't do it alone. i probably wouldn't have survived this month without my sister and my friends (near and far). whether its a simple text or a good hour of laughing about nothing, this kept me sane. and i learned that no matter how busy or successful you are, if you don't have people around you that can enjoy it with you and have fun, then its pretty much useless. you become a robot.
im anticipating a good month ahead. probably just as busy, but you can taste spring coming closer and soon i won't have to wear socks! #win

i am NOT a fan of raccoons. but when i saw this dress, i thought it was so cute. the only memory i have of these little creatures is when one jumped out at me when i was throwing the garbage away. i think that's why i have a slight fear of throwing things into large garbage cans outdoors. you never know whats gonna pop out. luckily, no rabies were contracted.
